About Us

Stewart's Mower Sales & Service was founded in 1972 by Richard and Emily Stewart in an old chicken house. By 1978 the business had outgrown the chicken house and they moved into a brand new facility. In 1984 the oldest son Rick starting helping his dad fixing mowers in the shop. Craig, their youngest son, starting helping selling mowers in 1987. It was the December of 1993 and it was time Stewart's made the move to computerize alot of their day to day operations. Once again in 1997 Stewart's had outgrown the building so they doubled the size of the facility. By 2005 it was again time to update the computer system with a newer faster and more efficient system. Rich and Emily sold the business to the boys in February of 2007. The second generation has started. January of 2011 we saw another change. Terry Sipe, Jr came aboard as a technician. He has many years experience in the outdoor power equipment industry. As of February of 2013 Terry has updated his Briggs & Stratton master service technician certificate. Craig is a 1990 graduate of York Vo Tech. He is owner and in charge of the sales and parts department. He was blessed with a niece in December of 2007 and a nephew in August of 2009. In June of 2014 he was blessed with another nephew

Emily was one of the co-founders. She now takes care of the office work. She was promoted to a grandma in December of 2007. It happend again in August of 2009 with her first grandson and again in June of 2014. On June 13, 2021 she passed from complications of dimentia. We miss her very much.

Rich was co-founder also. He offically retired in 2007 but still helps out with pick up and delivery among other tasks. His pride and joy are his granddaugter and grandsons.
